The Killeen Fire Department Chief said that at least three families have been displaced after a fire at College Park Apartments in Killeen.
Six apartments were affected by the fire. One apartment is a total loss, while one other was burned and three others were affected by smoke and heat.
The chief said the fire department could not see the apartments when they arrived on scene because of the smoke.
The fire is now out after the assistance of The Killeen Police Department, The Killeen Fire Department and the Fort Hood Station 3 Fire.
