Man arrested for online solicitation of a minor

HAMILTON COUNTY, TX (KXXV) -

Hamilton County Sheriff's Office conducted a online child exploitation investigation which led to one arrest on Thursday.

Jacob Baumgartner was taken into custody for online solicitation of a minor after he communicated in a sexually explicit manner with a what he thought was a 17-year-old girl.

Deputies said Baumgartner traveled to Hico from Waco. He was intercepted by Hamilton County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigators.

During the arrest, deputies said they found an alarming amount of weapons.
