The Texas Department of Public Safety said that a 92-year-old man has died three days after an incident involving a golf cart. The man has been identified as Herman Kuhnert.
DPS said that Kuhnert was driving a golf cart on Saturday and attempted to cross State Highway 53 from north to south, 10 miles east of Temple.
A Toyota was traveling from north to south, and the golf cart failed to yield the right of way. The Toyota struck the golf cart.
The driver of the Toyota was uninjured. Police said no charges are pending.
Kuhnert was transported to Baylor Scott and White in Temple. Kuhnert succumbed to his injuries Tuesday morning.
