One person is dead and five people taken to the hospital after a fatal accident in Bryan.
The accident happened 2:35 a.m. on the 3800 block of S. Texas Avenue at Garden Acres.
According to police, a Nissan Cube carrying four people was traveling northbound on S. Texas Avenue. A Hyundai Sonata carrying two people was traveling southbound. The Sonata driver failed to stay in a single lane and collided with the Cube.
The passenger of the Sonata, Victoria McGowan, 28, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The four people from the Cube and driver of the Sonata were taken to the hospital.
The crash is still under investigation.
