A Central Texas woman is having a reaction different from what you normally expect when receiving a speeding ticket.
According to a Facebook post from the Copperas Cove Police Department, the woman called police after receiving the ticket.
The woman said she spoke with the supervisor and told them how she felt - deserving.
She told police that she deserved the speeding ticket and apologized for feeling sad that she was caught speeding. According to her, Sgt. Cardona of Copperas Cove PD was very professional and thanked him and the department for putting their life on the line. The woman asked the supervisor to relay the message to the officer who stopped her.
When they saw her response, Copperas Cove police responded by saying they felt a little guilty after issuing her a ticket.
