Fort Hood children will be trained as Jedis

FORT HOOD, TX (KXXV) -

Military children in Fort Hood are going to get the chance to train to be a Jedi.

The Fort Hood Exchange is offering military children between the ages of 4 and 12 a chance to receive the training on Saturday, Dec. 3. 

The training begins at 11 a.m. and Jedis-in-training will learn how to use a light saber, learn how to use the Force, and receive a certificate of completion after the training. 

The Fort Hood Exchange expects that 250 children will attend the event with fully dressed in Stars Wars characters from the 501st Legion, an international Stars Wars costuming organization.
