A woman from out of state is dead in a two car crash on SH 6 in Falls County, Texas Department of Transportation Sgt. D. L. Wilson says.
A 2007 Honda went out of control on the slick pavement just north of Falls County Road 109 near Perry around 6:05 p.m. Tuesday. The car went into oncoming traffic and hit a 2016 Nissan.
Both drivers were transported to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Hillcrest in Waco. Sgt. Wilson says the driver of the Nissan, Linda K. Foster, 56, was pronounced dead there by McLennan County Justice of the Peace Dianne Hensley. The 18-year-old woman who was driving the Honda is stable.
The Texas Department of Transportation continues to investigate the accident.
