The Itasca Volunteer Fire Department received a new tool to fight brush fires.
The department received a $41,000 grant to buy a new brush truck.
The truck has modern features that will help that will help volunteers fight fires in rural areas.
The truck also has a 400 gallon water tank and a ten gallon foam cell to put out fires quicker.
The grant is from the Texas A&M Forest Service.
