SPEEGLEVILLE, TX (KXXV) -

Funeral arrangements have been made for the 15-year-old Midway junior that was killed in an ATV accident Wednesday.

Midway ISD announced that Devon Walker had died from injuries sustained from an ATV accident on Willow Grove Road.

The McLennan County Sheriff's office said Walker crashed into a fence post around 7 p.m.

Walker later died from internal injuries.

Walker was a member of the Midway High School band and was Outstanding Bandsman of the Week during the school's homecoming.

The band will not be performing during the Killeen Ellison - Midway football game tonight and will hold a moment of silence in honor of Walker.

"He was a very talented and hard-working musician," said Midway band director Stephen Harry. "His outstanding leadership had gotten the attention and praise of the band leadership."

Visitation for Walker will be Sunday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Wilkinson Hatch Bailey and the funeral will be on Monday at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Hewitt.
