A woman was arrested Wednesday night accused of driving while intoxicated with an open container after Bryan police said she crashed into a patrol car.

Bryan Police said Miranda Kay Rader, 19, was sending nude photos to her boyfriend through the social media app Snapchat on the 2500 block of E. Villa Maria.

According to the officer whose car Rader hit, Rader was attempting to put on a black blouse when the officer approached her. The officer said Rader also had an open bottle of wine in her center console cup holder.

Witnesses to the crash said Rader was driving recklessly leading up to wreck.

Rader told police that she was not dressed while driving because she was taking a Snapchat for her boyfriend while on her way back to her Texas A&M dormitory.

Rader is a freshman at Texas A&M and is majoring in general engineering according to the school's website.
