Police need help identifying car thief in Killeen

KILLEEN, TX (KXXV) -

Killeen police need help identifying a man who was seen stealing a car on video.

Police said a man contacted police saying his vehicle was missing on Sept. 25. The man added that he had cameras at his residence and had recorded the thief.

The vehicle was seen being driven on Sept 28 at the 3300 block of E. Rancier, but the driver fled the area.

Officers located the vehicle a short time after.

Detectives are asking if anyone can identify the thief to contact Crime Stoppers at 254-526-TIPS (8477) or go online anonymously at www.bellcountycrimestoppers.com
