A motorcyclist died after a three vehicle crash on Monday morning on U.S. Highway 190 at the George Wilson overpass.
The deceased has been identified as Bradley Jones, 45, of Harker Heights.
According to Belton Police, around 9 a.m. a motorcycle traveling eastbound hit a white Toyota van that was slowing traffic. The motorcycle rider fell off the bike and ended up into the path of an 18-wheeler and trailer traveling eastbound.
The motorcyclist who ended up under the trailer was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Belton Police. The drivers of the 18-wheeler and the Toyota van did not sustain any injuries.
The fatal crash remains under investigation.
