One Central Texas Sheriff kept his word in a fundraiser to honor cancer survivors.
Sheriff Dennis Wilson with the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office promised fundraisers that he would kiss a goat if the community raised $1,000 for the ILSA Relay for Life Team.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, ILSA employees have participated in the Relay for Life since 2008 and raises money to support cancer victims and survivors.
Sheriff Wilson kept his word as he kissed Buttercup the Goat at Hawkins Park in Groesbeck Friday.
