In a release, Temple ISD say that Temple Police have told them that reported threats from people dressing as clowns are fake.
“With safety in mind, Temple Police will have extra officers at Temple High School for the remainder of the day,” said the release.
The release also said that anyone sending threats should be aware that they can be arrested and charged with a crime.
