Repairs on a water line is requiring Elm Mott residents to boil water prior to consumption.
According to the McLennan County Water Control & Improvement District, residents living on the east side of Interstate Highway 35 in Elm Mott should boil their water before consuming it.
The Texas Commission Environmental Quality (TCEQ) required the WCID to notify customers due to repairs being made on a water line break.
Water system officials will notify residents when the water is safe to consume without boiling.
