At the weekly Baylor football press conference, head coach Jim Grobe said if the university has not made a disciplinary decision about Ishmael Zamora's animal abuse by Friday, he will not be playing.
Grobe said Zamora is listed as a starter on the depth chart, but his status is on hold until the university makes a disciplinary decision.
Zamora was seen beating a dog with a belt in a video obtained by News Channel 25.
A petition demanding for the removal of Zamora on change.org has reached almost 15,000 signatures as of Monday morning.
