A former Woodway Public Safety Department officer plead guilty to fraud Friday afternoon.
Craig Bouse plead guilty to prescription fraud after an investigation.
Bouse resigned from the department in March 2015 after an investigation found that Bouse was illegally getting painkillers from a pharmacy.
Officer searched his home and found hydrocodone and other prescription pain pills.
Bouse received a sentence of 180 days in jail, 10 years of deferred adjudication, and a $1,500 fine.
Bouse will also surrender his police officer’s license.
