Citizens will be able to shop with the Bellmead Police Department for the first annual Shop With a Cop.
H-E-B and Bellmead Police are hosting Shop With a Cop on August 20 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
The Bellmead police will be placing officers at the main entrances of the store and will hand out school supply lists for a La Vega Elementary school.
Police will also be walking with customers as they choose supplies to donate.
The supplies from the event will be donated on Friday, August 26 at 9:30 a.m. to Wheeler Elementary School.
