Sunday afternoon a driver led Texas DPS troopers on a high-speed chase in Waco.

According to DPS, a trooper tried to pull over a 2012 Black Avalanche. The vehicle was reported stolen out of the Dallas area.

Traveling Southbound on I-35 near Valley Mills Drive, the vehicle refused to pull over picking up speed and exiting onto Valley Mills. The driver of the stolen vehicle drove behind the Gander Mountain store on Bagby Avenue and attempted to run away.

The trooper chased and caught the driver. DPS has identified the driver as Kaylie Jordan Adams of Whitesboro, Texas.

Adams was transported to McLennan County Jail and is charged with Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and Fleeing/Attempting to elude police.
