Man killed at Buckeye Bingo Identified

WACO, TX (KXXV) -

Police have identified the suspect killed outside of Buckeye Bingo Wednesday afternoon.

Waco Police have identified the man as 35-year-old Juan Marcus Howard of Waco. Howard was shot to death by a security officer for Pro Security Group.

Police said Howard ambushed the officer in the parking lot  at the 2500 block of Cole Avenue after 1 p.m. yesterday.

Howard wearing all black attire, black gloves and a black mask, attacked the officer. The two men struggled over the gun. The gun went off, the officer shooting himself in the left hand and Howard in the upper torso.

Howard was pronounced dead at the scene. The security officer was transported to a local hospital family members say he is in good condition.
