A 27-year-old was transported to the Baylor Scott & White at Hillcrest Medical Center after being shot several times in his groin on Monday night, according to Waco Police.
The shooting happened around 8:30 p.m., in the 1200 block of Meadowbrook Dr.
Police said two men in a vehicle pulled up to the residence and at least one shot at the victim, who was sitting on the front porch, from the car. The suspects fled the area in a dark colored Nissan Altima, which was last seen traveling east on Meadowbrook Dr.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is on going. The motive for the shooting is unknown.
