Robinson police have just detained a man at the home of an infant who died earlier today, possibly from natural causes.

Officers and EMS were called to the 500 block of Rio Bonito this morning for a child who was not breathing.

That infant was rushed to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest where the child was pronounced dead.  Police Chief Rusty Smith said there was no indication of the cause of death. and an autopsy has been ordered.

This afternoon when CPS workers went to the home to check on other children living there, an adult male became confrontational with them.  Police were called back to the home and that man was detained and questioned.

There's no word yet on what charges he faces or his relationship to the child who died.

Other children at the home are now in the custody by CPS, according to Smith.
