A Copperas Cove man was arrested for online solicitation of a minor Wednesday.

26-year-old Garrett Pharr confessed to communicating in a sexually explicit manner with young girls, as well as receiving nude photos of them.

“Protecting our children and our communities is one of the most important jobs we have,” Attorney General Ken Paxton said. “These predators represent the very worst of our society, and I commend the CEU and law enforcement professionals who dedicate themselves to taking them off our streets.”

The Attorney General’s Child Exploitation unit received a tip from the National center for Missing and Exploited Children that Pharr was communicating with young girls on the internet and distributing sexually explicit material to the girls through a communication service.
