The Intrepid Spirit team will host an open house in observance of Brain Injury Awareness month on March 24 at 11 a.m.
Retired Brig. Gen. Rhonda Cornum will be the guest speaker.
Cornum retired in 2012 after 34 years of service. She was essential in developing the Army’s Comprehensive Soldier Fitness program. The program focuses on alternative approaches to treating and preventing combat stress-related disorder.
She will be speaking on preventing, recognizing and recovering from traumatic brain injury.
The open house will also include tours of the new facility.
