Waco police say an ongoing investigation led to the arrest of two people on charges of human trafficking. The investigation, which began earlier this year, determined that a woman was setting up a girl under the age of 16 for sex.
Marvin Gay Levi and Lisa Suzanne Owens both face charges for trafficking of persons in the case.
Owens is accused of setting the girl up to meet at least one man on multiple occasions at an apartment in Waco for sex. Levi is accused of having sex with the girl. He faces three counts for each of the three occasions.
Bond was set at a quarter million dollars on each count and both remain in the McLennan County Jail.
