A 20-year-old Copperas Cove woman charged with murder for the March shooting of a 22-year-old Killeen man has been extradited back to Bell County after being arrested in Roswell, New Mexico.

Shaian Marie Westbrook is in the Bell County Jail on a murder charge for the fatal shooting of Jonathon Tyrone Bridges during an apparent attempted robbery back on March 11.

Police report Westbrook was arrested in Roswell, New Mexico after being found on April 27. Police credit a CrimeStoppers tip.

On March 11, police found Bridges in the 2300 block of Jennifer Dr., near the Hillcrest Apartments. Officers were told that a man and woman drove up to the victim in a blue car, and the man got out of the passenger side of the vehicle and demanded money, before shooting Bridges.

The man and woman fled in the blue vehicle. Police don't know if he got away with anything. The male suspect has been identified as 28-year-old Rogelio Jones. He was arrested on March 14 and is also in the Bell County Jail on a murder charge.

Police found Bridges laying on the ground with a gunshot wound. He was conscious as he was being taken to Baylor Scott & White in Temple in critical condition, but was pronounced dead at Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital later that night.
