A man working as a bus driver in Kansas was arrested Sunday on child pornography charges out of Coryell County.
Late Friday afternoon, a possession of child pornography warrant was issued for Kelly Shane Hooper. Authorities found that Hooper had learned of the investigation against him, and fled to Kansas, where he was working as a bus driver.
Local authorities, the Child Exploitation Unit of the Texas Attorney General's Office, coordinated with the Topeka Police Department over the weekend, with Hooper being arrested Sunday.
Four more child pornography warrants were issued Monday for Hooper, who is set to be extradited back to Coryell County to stand trial for those charges.
