WACO, TX — The Waco Fire Department responded to a large vehicle fire on northbound I-35.
Waco Fire units were working an 18-Wheeler heavily involved in fire at Northbound I-35 near University Parks Dr.
There are no injuries reported, according to Waco Police Officer Bynum. The driver was able to get out safely.
Officer Bynum says the 18-wheeler was the only vehicle involved.
Northbound I-35 lanes are open but the access road from University to MLK was closed.
Waco Police responded around 12:50 p.m. to the fire.
The HazMat Team also responding.
