* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Trinity River near Crockett.
* WHEN...Until just after midnight tonight.
* IMPACTS...At 41.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding begins in the
vicinity of the gage creating problems for cattle ranches and
prison farms. Livestock may need to be removed from low areas in
the flood plain.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:45 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 41.3 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 35.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:45 AM CDT Saturday was 42.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
this afternoon and continue falling to 31.0 feet Thursday
morning.
