BRAZOS COUNTY, TX — Services have been set for Lizzy Greer, a 9-year-old who lost her battle with a rare form of cancer for the last four years.

A celebration of her life will be held at noon on Thursday at Faith Outreach Christian Center in Navasota.

Visitation with her family and friends will be held an hour before prior to the service at 11 a.m.

Her mother is asking attendees to wear colors to represent Lizzy. Her mother said Lizzy hated black, so they ask for you to not wear all black.

After being returned home for her remaining hospice care around a month ago, Lizzy passed away just after 9 p.m. on March 23.

Earlier in March, the Millican, TX family prepared for the end of Princess Lizzy's journey and that included picking out a headstone for the little girl. Lizzy wanted to pick her own out, and being an unicorn-obsessed 9-year-old, she picked a unicorn headstone.

In an effort to ensure Lizzy receives her final wish, her cancer advocates have started a specific GoFundMe for the funding of her chosen headstone.

If you would like to donate toward making Lizzy's final resting place how she envisioned it, you can find GoFundMe page here.
