A Bryan High School theatre teacher is catching the attention of social media and even celebrities.

Bailey Robear, a theatre teacher with Bryan ISD, shared an image of this month's door decoration: an image of Katherine Johnson, a NASA mathematician whose calculations were instrumental in the first spaceflight and the many that would follow.

Johnson was portrayed in the Oscar-nominated film "Hidden Figures" by Taraji P. Henson.

"We celebrate you, the hidden figures of history, and we celebrate Black History Month with gratitude and gusto," said Robear on her Instagram

The door decoration also received attention from actress Octavia Spencer, who played Dorothy Vaughan in "Hidden Figures."
