Lufkin police are searching for the person who set a fire in the chips section of Walmart on Monday night.

Police said the fire started around 11:15 p.m. Firefighters were able to quickly put out the fire using a fire extinguisher, but the store was filled with smoke.

Police believe the fire is arson and say the Lufkin Fire Marshal's Office will be investigating.

On Tuesday, police released a photo of a man suspected of causing the fire.

An employee reported seeing the man walk into the store angrily after arguing with another customer over a parking spot. The employee said he was cussing and yelling about the parking spot spat inside the store. He was seen leaving the chip aisle just before the fire broke out.

No one was injured in the fire.
