The Waco Police Department said that they are looking for two men who attempted to kidnap a woman Friday morning.
Police said that the woman was in the parking lot of apartments located at 5101 Hawthorne Dr. A vehicle that was occupied by the woman's child's father and another man pulled up to the victim.
The woman's child's father exited the vehicle and began assaulting her. He dragged her in the vehicle by her hair. He threatened her with a gun, and the assault continued in the car.
After driving away from the complex, the victim was able to jump from the vehicle. She was able to flee to the CEFCO Food Mart at 626 Lake Air Dr where she found help.
She received numerous scratches and bruises from the assault and was taken for medical treatment by a family member. The suspects are still being sought by police.
The investigation is ongoing.
