The impending wet and chilly weather expected for Monday has caused the cancellation of Waco's Veterans Day Parade.
The parade was expected to take place on Monday, Nov. 12, but due to low temperatures and expected rain, the parade was canceled in advance.
"Tom Parker, President of the McLennan County Veterans' Association, his wife and many local partners have put in a huge amount of time and effort to help Waco celebrate our Veterans. It is unfortunate the weather has caused its cancellation," said Larry Holze with the City of Waco.
