A man was found dead by his roommate in the apartment at Highlander Ranch early Friday morning.

McLennan County Sheriff Parnell McNamara said there is no evidence of foul play, but the sheriff's office will still be investigating.

An autopsy for the man's body has been ordered.

The man was identified as Larry Radke. Radke was the former police chief at McLennan County Community College. He had retired in February.

Highlander Ranch, located at 223 Cobbs Lane, is a 200-acre ranch owned by McLennan County Community College.
