The man found guilty of killing two women will serve life in prison. 

Rico Doyle, who has been charged with the murderof two Killeen people, was found guilty by the jury after taking an hour and a half to come back with a verdict Tuesday afternoon.

He was accused of killing 42-year-old Kysha Edmond-Gray and 38-year-old Deanna Buster on April 21, 2015, at the former Village West apartments in Killeen.

Doyle is convicted of capital murder in Bell County and could have received the death penalty. 

After five hours of deliberation Thursday, the jury was unable to come to a unanimous decision in Doyle's sentencing. Doyle will serve life in prison without parole after the jury was deadlocked. 

After the punishment was read, both victims' families read statements speaking of forgiveness.
