Waco police said they have arrested a man on three aggravated assault charges after he attacked his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend in April.

Police said on April 13, the woman and her boyfriend went to a game room at 12 Street and Waco Drive. As the couple was leaving, they ran into her ex-boyfriend, Keavan Davis. Davis began to assault the new boyfriend, causing him serious injuries to the face.

The man was sent from Hillcrest Hospital to Baylor Scott & White in Temple for surgery because of the severity of his injuries.

When the girlfriend and her mother left the hospital and returned home, they saw Davis sitting across the street in his vehicle.

The women tried to get away, but Davis crashed into their car and pointed a gun at them. The women were able to escape and call police.

Davis was then arrested on two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one county of aggravated assault causes bodily harm. His bond has been set at $350,000.
