Police: Middle school student arrested for making terroristic threat

On Monday, a middle school student was arrested after Groesbeck Police said the student made a terroristic threat.

Groesbeck Middle School staff and police investigated reports of the threat, and the student was subsequently removed by administration.

A warrant was issued for the student on a terroristic threat causes fear of imminent serious bodily injury charge. The student was taken in to custody and placed in the Limestone County Juvenile Detention Center.

Groesbeck police added the department continues to work with GISD to ensure the safety of all students in the community.
