Officials say that 600 cots were destroyed after an evacuee from Hurricane Harvey was diagnosed with MRSA.
Bell County officials said that cots were located the shelter located at the Fairway Middle School in Killeen.
Officials were given a choice to clean or destroy the cots after an evacuee was diagnosed with MRSA. The state advised officials to destroy cots and replace with new ones.
