A new food hall concept featuring 27 different eateries under one roof is making its way to downtown Waco.
The 18,000 square foot space on Franklin Avenue and 8th Street will be called "Union Hall".
It will house 24 food stalls and three restaurants, giving people a variety of options.
Realtors say there is a gap between owning a food truck and then turning that into a restaurant. The food stalls will help bridge that gap.
"We look at it as more of a kitchen incubator system. So it gives individuals that have culinary experience or want to have the culinary experience to come up with concepts and to start small in the small stalls and work their way up to the larger locations," Jonathan Garza, a commercial real estate agent with Lucra Real Estate, said.
Garza said they will open sometime in 2018.
