TEMPLE, TX (KXXV) -

Temple police said a fiery 18-wheeler crash on I-35 in Temple has closed all the Southbound lanes near exit 302.

Police said they responded to a report of a vehicle fire around 5:19 a.m. The trailer was carrying wood cabinets, diesel fuel and other fluids.

The driver of the 18-wheeler has been taken to Baylor Scott & White hospital with unknown injuries.

A hazmat team has been called to the scene for cleanup of the spilled fuel, TxDOT said.
