Police identify victim shot to death in bedroom

BELTON, TX (KXXV) -

Police have identified the man who was shot to death in the master bedroom in Belton as 30-year-old Redrick Robinson. 

The Belton Police Department continue to look for two men in connection to the deadly overnight shooting.

Police said the shooting happened about 4:45 a.m. Saturday inside a home in the 800 block of Carla Key Drive.

A witness called 911 and reported the shooting, police said.

"When police arrived at the home, there was evidence of forced entry, and a man was found dead in the master bedroom area. He had been shot multiple times," Belton Police Department spokesperson Paul Romer said.

A neighbor said they heard sounds that sounded like fireworks with continuous popping. The neighbor said they heard a bang on the wall and heard an alarm go off shortly after they heard crying. They said there were kids at the house and loud music was playing all night. 

The Bell County District Attorney's Office is assisting with the investigation.
