A water boil notice has been issued for Dog Ridge Water Supply Corporation customers due to a main break on Dog Ridge Loop.

Only customers on the north side of Highway 190 (including the Airdale subdivision, Wheat Road, and FM 93) and only the few customers on the south side of 190 with the address numbers including and between 4497, 4393, 4175, 4171, 4073, 4011, 4007, 3905, and 3891 W Hwy 190 need to boil their water prior to consumption.

To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking, and making ice should be boiled and cooled prior to use. The water should be brought to a vigorous, rolling boil and then boiled for two minutes. In lieu of boiling, you may purchase bottled water or obtain water from some other suitable source.

When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, the water system officials will notify you that the water is safe for consumption.

If you have questions concerning this matter, you may contact the DRWS office at (254) 939-6533 or Mark Seffrood at (254) 721-0401.
