The Main Street bridge on Hwy 190 in Nolanville was shut down after a wreck Friday morning but has been reopened.
DPS said a car accident caused traffic to slow at 8:48 a.m. The accident happened after a car was cut off causing the driver to lose control, spin out of control and hit the side of the bridge.
A few minutes later, a woman riding a motorcycle swerved into a ditch to avoid slowing cars and flew over the motorcycle, Nolanville police said.
Her neck was stabilized by an off-duty Fire and Rescue officer until EMS arrived.
The woman was taken to Seton Medical hospital in Harker Heights with bruised ribs.
