TX House and Senate to discuss the Sunset Bill

AUSTIN, TX (KXXV) -

The House meeting lasted for just about 30- minutes Wednesday and representatives were dismissed until their committee meeting this afternoon. 

The house will meet again at one to discuss the looming Sunset Bill, while the Senate will be discussing the same bill in their chambers. 

Both the House and Senate are at a standstill until the Sunset Bill is voted out of each chamber. 

Governor Greg Abbott has said he will not release the remaining 19 items on the agenda until the Sunset Bill is taken care of.
