The Bryan Police Department said they are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found outside an apartment complex.
On July 8 at around 10:30 a.m., officers responded to Reveille Ranch located at 3645 Wellborn Rd. for a deceased person that was located outside, near the back of the complex.
At 11:15 a.m. a missing person report was filed at the police department by a relative.
Investigators were able to confirm that the deceased person was the same person that was reported missing.
The deceased person is a 55-year-old female resident of Bryan.
The cause of death is not immediately known and is being sent for an autopsy.
This case remains under investigation.
