CTX realtor arrested, charged with exploitation of elderly

WACO, TX (KXXV) -

A Waco area realtor was arrested Thursday afternoon, according to Waco Police. 

Sgt. Patrick Swanton with Waco Police confirmed that Jody Scoggins, with The Scoggins Team: Waco, TX Real Estate, Woodway, TX Real Estate, Remax Centex, was arrested just after noon Thursday. 

Scoggins was arrested at his office by Waco police. Scoggins is charged with exploitation of the elderly and securing execution of a document by deception. 

Scoggins is currently being held at the McLennan County Jail. His bond has been set at $200,000.
