Amber Alert discontinued after authorities find kidnapped 13-year-old's body

DALLAS, TX (KXXV) -

The FBI said they found the body of the 13-year-old girl who was at the center of an Amber Alert on July 1.

The FBI raided a home in Dallas and found Shavon Randle's body, KDFW-TV reported. They also found the body of 19-year-old Michael Titus.

The Dallas County Medical Examiner's Office on Saturday, July 8 said Randle's was shot in the head and torso. Titus was shot in the head. 

Her family reported her as kidnapped on June 28. She was taking care of a cousin in Lancaster when she disappeared.

Court records indicate police believe Shavon was kidnapped after the boyfriend of one of her relatives stole some marijuana.

Police say two men are charged with aggravated kidnapping. No one has been charged in the deaths.

    The Federal Aviation Administration's announcement late Wednesday comes nearly a year after the engine's manufacturer recommended the additional inspections, and a month after European regulators ordered their airlines to do the work.
