The Gatesville Police Department is asking the community for information in regards to a skimming device found attached to a gas pump.
The device was found on June 23, at the CEFCO located at the 101 N State Hwy 36 and the intersection with E. Main St. in Gatesville.
The skimming device reads and stores credit card information from cards at that location.
The manager discovered the device attached to a pump when he was checking the gas pumps to see if they were working properly.
The store video surveillance showed a silver or gray Ford F350 dually pickup pulling a long trailer containing landscaping trees as the vehicle possibly involved with the placing of the skimmer.
