WACO, TX (KXXV) -

One of the new shops at Mary Avenue Market is officially open for business.

Fox & Gray opened their doors Thursday. It's a women's boutique that also offers styling services.

The owners, Joey Oglesby and Summer Herriage, are husband and wife. They named the shop after their two kids.

The couple recently moved here from California. They looked at several bigger cities, like Dallas and Austin, but decided Waco was the best place to open their shop because of the small-town feel and the growing market downtown.

“Sometimes you come in at the end of something in a city and with this we get to be a part of this, kind of the beginning of this really incredible transformation of downtown Waco and that's exciting,” Oglesby said.

“Yeah and the community of the downtown people seems pretty awesome right now,” Herriage said.

The shop will be open 6 days a week.

The other shops at Mary Avenue Market should be open within the next few months.
